Important Notice: TEAS Testing

Due to the ongoing network outage, Navarro College Testing Centers are temporarily unable to administer the TEAS exam.

In the meantime, applicants may complete the TEAS exam in person at another approved testing location, such as another college or an independent testing center, including Sylvan Learning Centers.

We hope to resume TEAS testing at Navarro College soon and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please continue to check our website for updates.

ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

• Take the TEAS test.

• Must achieve a minimum 66% Total TEAS Score

• Students may take the TEAS test twice during each application cycle (March 1, 2026 - January 8, 2027).

• Only one set of scores will be accepted.

• Scores obtained from TEAS taken through remote proctoring will not be accepted. The TEAS must be taken in-person at an approved testing location. 

The ATI TEAS is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields. Most likely, you've been asked to take the TEAS as part of your basic admissions requirements for nursing or allied health school. That's because studies show a consistent link between a student's performance on the TEAS and future academic success.

  Transcripts

• Include unofficial transcripts from EACH college and/or university you have attended, including Navarro College in your Associate Degree Nursing application packet.

  ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

• Include first page of TEAS test results

  Degree Audit Transcript

• Include a copy of your Degree Audit Transcript obtained via Self-Service under unofficial transcripts.

• Must be under the correct degree plan. Contact the Registrar for assistance.

LVN Employment Verification 

• Applicants requesting ranking points for LVN experience must upload a completed LVN Employment Verification Form. Submit verification from enough employers to document the total experience required for the applicable point category.

HEP B

• Proof of dose 1 and 2 of 3 dose series or proof of dose 1 of 2 dose series.

• Proof of completed immunization or titer immunity after acceptance. 

Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)  or  Positive Antibody Titer

• Two immunizations for Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), or

• a Positive Antibody Titer showing immunity to all three.

Varicella (Chicken pox)  or  Positive Antibody Titer

• Two immunizations for Varicella (Chicken pox) or

• a Positive Antibody Titer

Tetanus, Diphtheria, acellular Pertussis (TDAP)  

Proof of one dose of TDAP

• If no record then, you will need to receive TDAP.

• If TDAP was administered > 10 years ago, you will need TD booster. TD booster is required every ten years thereafter.

Influenza

• Due by October 1, following admission to the Bridge program

HepB vaccine series / Positive Antibody Titer

• Proof of dose 1 and 2 of 3 dose series or proof of dose 1 of 2 dose series, and

• Proof of completed titer immunity after acceptance. 

COVID-19

• Varies by clinical facility.
