ANIMALS ON CAMPUS
ANIMALS ON CAMPUS
In keeping with the district priorities of maintaining a safe and civil environment conducive to learning, Navarro College prohibits animals on any campus or college property with few exceptions allowable as identified below:
A. official college mascot,
B. police dogs,
C. service animals as defined by the United States Department of Justice’s Civil
Rights Division’s Disability Rights Section, and
D. pre-approved assistance animals (restricted to assigned Residence Life room and
grassy vicinity), as determined through appropriate medical and other documentation
submitted to and approved by Navarro College Disability Services in compliance with
the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Guidelines.
